Parenting Support

· We offer courses in Parenting organised by the Assistant Head and local Health Visitor. These have covered a range of issues raised by group members, including behaviour management.

· You can book an appointment for a one to one consultation with our Assistant Head on any parenting issue.

· We have an extensive Parenting Library from which you may borrow books on the following subjects: Adult Issues, Baby Care, Behaviour Management, Bereavement, Developing Children’s Confidence, Fathers, Health and First Aid, Learning, Nutrition, Parenting, Relationships, Sleeping Problems, Special Needs, and Toilet Training.

· We are able to advise you on how to make contact with other agencies, and have close links with Opportunity Links who can advise on all aspects of child care, and with Job Centre Plus, who can advise on any return to work issues.

There is a computer in the parents waiting area with internet access.
