We do our very best to make families of Homerton attendees feel happy and welcome here. We see our work with parents and carers as a partnership, and encourage you to talk with us about any anxieties you or your children may have, however minor. A little worry can seem enormous to a young child! We hope you will feel able to use us as a source of experience – we have met and known many children and their families over the years.

As parents, you are your children’s first teachers, and the early years are the ones in which children learn more quickly than at any other time in their lives. With your help we can get to know your children really well, and learn how to best support them. All children have different needs, and they develop at different rates. Also, parents have different expectations and child rearing practices. We as teachers need to be aware of these differences and respect them.

Our Parental Partnership policy is available in the lobby.
