Equal Opportunities

Making music to accompany the Lion Dance at Chinese New Year

What we do in school reflects the backgrounds, customs and languages of all our children; we value diversity and view differences as opportunities to extend our teaching and children’s learning. Through our practice and organisation we aim to ensure that no child is unfulfilled through limited opportunity as a result of gender, creed, race, social background or any sensory or physical impairment, and we do not allow any behaviour that hurts or offends others. Personal, social and emotional education at Homerton Childen's Centre is intended to enable every child to develop high self-esteem, self-respect, and respect for others. Our policies for Personal, Social and Emotional Development, Good Behaviour, Anti Bullying, Sex Education and Relationships, Multi Cultural Education and Equal Opportunities are all available in the lobby
