Staffing

In the Nursery School

Each of the 3 classes has up to 20 children and is managed by a teacher and nursery nurse. We also employ a support nursery nurse and a support teacher who work in all three classes to provide additional teaching, or non-contact time for staff. All staff have qualifications in Early Years Education.

Our ICT advisor is a qualified teacher and works throughout the school supporting us with ideas for relevant and meaningful technology.

Classes often also have a Teaching Assistant who works with children who have Special Educational Needs.

Additionally, students from local universities and colleges undertake teacher or nursery nurse training with us, and at times we have younger students from schools on work experience placements.
